Men's Schott SP674H BLACK
€1.799,00
The Schott SP674H takes the design codes of A-2 and G-1 jackets and reworks them into a bomber silhouette designed for the city. The black horsehide gives the model a firm structure and a strong presence; over time, wear creases will trace its surface. The open shirt collar and straight zip fastening keep the front understated, without the panels or numerous details of a traditional flight jacket.
The two slanted pockets sit naturally beneath the hands. At the hem and cuffs, the rib-knit trim keeps the volume in place and shapes the bomber’s short silhouette. This interplay between structured leather and ribbed knit gives the piece its balance: a military-inspired look with a more relaxed feel.
The horsehide creates a dense feel and a silhouette that holds its shape, rather than a soft, fluid drape. The black highlights the jacket’s lines and keeps the construction details in the foreground. The checked cotton lining introduces visible contrast inside, a nod to the classic linings of American wardrobes.
The bomber cut is easy to wear with jeans and fine knitwear or a lightweight sweatshirt. Its rib-knit waistband defines the bottom of the jacket, creating a shorter, more fitted look than a straight jacket. For thick layering, it is best to consider the desired room when choosing your size.
The SP674H comes from a capsule collection specially created for the film Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, a musical biopic directed by Scott Cooper and released in October 2025. The feature film chronicles a pivotal period in Bruce Springsteen’s career: the creation, in 1982, of his cult album Nebraska. A collection that pays tribute to the Boss’s world, his authentic style and the spirit of American rock.
Schott was founded in New York in 1913, when brothers Irving and Jack Schott opened their company in the Lower East Side. Initially focused on rainwear, they went on to develop leather jackets and pieces designed for everyday use. This history explains the importance of military and utilitarian references in the brand’s collections.
The Asbury Park is also part of the collection linked to the film Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere. Its name and aesthetic evoke a restrained American wardrobe, somewhere between flight-jacket heritage and civilian style, without turning the jacket into a reproduction of a uniform.
This is a horsehide jacket.
Horsehide is a fairly rare hide. It is found, most of the time, on jacket models exclusively made in the United States such as the historic Schott N.Y.C.
Very thick and above all very resistant, the horse leather models are easy to maintain.
We will still advise you to waterproof them, like any leather jacket, either upon purchase and then at least once every year.

In all cases, remember to always test the application of a maintenance product on a non-visible surface of your product. Certain finishes or leather treatments may react differently from one product to another.
