Men's Mauritius GBDerry LAORV BLACK
Product Description
Four zipped pockets, all usable on the move
The GBDerry places four zippers across the front: two chest pockets set high and two lower pockets at hand level. All are zipped, which changes the jacket's practical use — nothing falls out when you bend over, and the chest pockets remain accessible with the jacket closed, whereas flap pockets require you to open the garment. The straight, centered zip completes this full-closure approach, inherited from pilot and racing jackets where every opening had to stay secure at speed.
A stand-up collar that stays closed with a snap tab
The collar rises at the nape and is held in place by a snap tab instead of falling back like a soft collar. When closed, it blocks airflow around the neck and creates a vertical line that tightens the entire upper-body silhouette. When open, the tab folds to the side and clears the neckline without creating extra bulk. This dual use is what distinguishes a biker collar from a shirt collar, allowing you to vary the jacket's look without adding anything to it.
Quilted shoulders and a patch on the sleeve
The shoulders feature horizontal topstitched quilting: the raised texture slightly broadens the line and catches the light on black leather that would otherwise remain a continuous surface. An embroidered patch on the sleeve echoes the visual language of team jackets. The soft, lightweight lambskin prevents this textured construction from weighing the garment down — the jacket follows the movement of the arms from the very first wears, with no break-in period.
Mauritius, fifty years of leather clothing
The company was founded in 1972 under the name Raberg Ledermoden by Jürgen Raberg, with a sole focus on leather clothing. It grew under the name Gipsy before adopting Mauritius for its fiftieth anniversary, a change that brought previously distinct lines together under one signature. The company is now run by Katrin and Christian Raberg, the second generation of the founding family. Its collections are distributed in more than fifty countries, and the company produces both for its own brands and for third-party labels.
Caring for your leather
This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
You can also use a delicate neutral cream or color to nourish and revive your leather.

In all cases, remember to always test the application of a maintenance product on a non-visible surface of your product. Certain finishes or leather treatments may react differently from one product to another.
