Men's Redskins B52 ARGUS BROWN
Product Description
A flight jacket whose patches set the tone
The B52 ARGUS BROWN adopts the short, fitted silhouette of a flight jacket, with an immediately visible distinctive feature: embroidered patches on the chest and sleeves. They establish a strong aviation-inspired vocabulary and give the piece the spirit of a flight jacket, without making it dependent on a complete uniform. The brown leather and ribbed finishes anchor the overall look in a casual wardrobe, making it easy to pair with jeans or understated trousers.
The cowhide leather gives the jacket a more structured presence than a textile model. Its brown shade complements the embroidery without drawing attention away from the motifs. The collar trimmed with faux fur contrasts with the leather and enhances the piece’s enveloping look; it can also be worn turned up to alter the line around the face.
Flight jacket details designed for everyday wear
The straight zip fastening keeps the front clean, while the rib-knit cuffs and hem define the fitted shape typical of a bomber. At the waist, the rib-knit hem brings the jacket closer to the body and helps maintain its short silhouette, rather than letting the bottom fall like a straight jacket.
The two side pockets hold everyday essentials. On the sleeve, a zipped pocket accompanied by utility compartments reprises a functional detail associated with flight jackets and adds interest to the arm without adding volume to the front. The overall look stands on its own: a plain knit and understated trousers let the patches occupy their rightful place.
Redskins, a story that began with leather
Founded in 1984 by Serge Aboujedid, Redskins launched its first collections around pieces such as teddy jackets and bombers. The French brand built its identity by reinterpreting these distinctive silhouettes, with leather at the heart of its universe. The B52 ARGUS BROWN continues this affinity for flight jacket-inspired outerwear, making aviation patches the distinctive feature of its interpretation.
