Product Description
Chestnut and black contrast, designed for the city
Redskins’ ASSURE sneakers give the low-top sneaker a more structured look than a minimalist model. Chestnut cowhide leather forms the base of the shoe, enhanced by black details that highlight the lacing and the back of the foot. The beige sole creates a third contrast, immediately visible without making the pair difficult to match.
Laces for adjustment, side zip for easy access
The lacing lets you adjust the fit across the instep; the zip placed on the side makes them easier to put on every day. Each fastening has its own role: once the laces have been adjusted, the zip lets you open the shoe without having to redo them every time. A mesh insert and a black back collar complete the design, while the flat rubber sole retains a relaxed look.
A low-top sneaker that is easy to incorporate into your wardrobe
The chestnut colour naturally pairs with raw denim, beige chinos or dark trousers; the black touches echo a jacket or belt in the same tones. The textile lining and insole are suited to everyday wear, while the low-top silhouette works with casual outfits as well as a more polished urban ensemble.
Redskins, a French brand born around leather
Serge Aboujedid founded Redskins in 1984, after discovering the world of leather at the Carreau du Temple in Paris. The first collections notably reinterpreted the teddy jacket and bomber jacket, before the brand developed an urban wardrobe in which leather remains a central material.
Caring for your leather
This product is made of cowhide leather. Whether thick and heavy or thin and light, cowhide is one of the most resistant.
Its maintenance simply involves using a cleansing milk or a delicate cream.
You will also need, as with the vast majority of leathers, to waterproof your leather once every 6 months, or more depending on its use, using a special leather aerosol product.
