Leather and sweatshirt combined in one jacket
The Rylo LAKEV plays on a well-balanced contrast: black lamb leather creates a clean silhouette, while the sweatshirt-knit hood gives the jacket a more casual accent. Removable, it allows you to change the look of the piece: keep it on to enhance its sportswear spirit, or remove it to reveal a cleaner stand-up collar fastened with snaps.
Lambskin is appreciated for its fineness and suppleness. Here, it gives the jacket a more fluid drape than thick, rigid leather. The solid black highlights the panels and decorative topstitching without distracting from the material.
Adjustable details that define the silhouette
The central fastening remains straight, following a clean line, while the two zipped outer pockets are integrated into the front without adding bulk. At the cuffs, the zips allow the sleeves to be opened and add a graphic detail consistent with the model’s biker spirit. The adjustment buckles on the sides of the jacket hem help adjust the ease around the waist.
Inside, three pockets feature different types of fastening: zip, button and hook-and-loop tape. The metal logo placed on the sleeve and the topstitching add subtle accents to the leather without multiplying the embellishments. Worn with jeans and sneakers, the jacket retains a casual look; without its hood, it also pairs more easily with an outfit consisting of a shirt or a lightweight sweater.
Mauritius, a German brand dedicated to leather
Mauritius’ history began in Germany with Jürgen Raberg’s project to create a leather fashion brand in the north of the country. His initiative dates back to 1972 and led to the creation of Mauritius, which became a specialist in leather clothing with international distribution. The Rylo LAKEV reflects this contemporary approach to the jacket: a leather base enhanced here by an element borrowed from the sweatshirt wardrobe.

This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
