Women's Mauritius MWAgatha BLACK II
Product Description
Light-colored bands outlining the shoulders
The Agatha places two light gray bands across the shoulders and upper sleeves, on black leather. The technique comes from competition wear, where contrasting bands were used to identify a team from a distance. On this jacket, they play a visual construction role: they emphasize the shoulder line, slightly broaden the upper torso and create a point of contrast that makes the silhouette readable from a distance, where a plain black jacket would remain a shapeless form without definition.
Embroidered patches integrated into the material
The racing patches are embroidered directly into the leather, rather than heat-applied. The difference lies in the texture of the thread, which catches the light, and in their durability over time: embroidery remains attached to the panel, whereas a glued patch eventually starts to peel at the corners. Their placement on the chest and sleeve follows the traditional arrangement of competition suits. Combined with the shoulder bands, they give the garment an immediately recognizable character.
A feminine biker base beneath the graphic elements
The construction remains that of a short jacket: a stand-up collar closed with a snap, chest zippers and a waist-length cut. This foundation makes the piece suitable for everyday wear despite its bold character — without it, the accumulation of bands and embroidery would veer into costume territory. The supple, lightweight lambskin follows the movement of the arms from the very first wears. The outfit works best kept simple: raw denim, black trousers and a plain top.
Mauritius, fifty years of leather clothing
The company was founded in 1972 under the name Raberg Ledermoden by Jürgen Raberg, with a single specialty — leather clothing. It grew under the name Gipsy before adopting Mauritius on its fiftieth anniversary, a change that brought previously distinct lines together under one signature. The company is now run by Katrin and Christian Raberg, the second generation of the founding family. Its collections are distributed in more than fifty countries, and the company produces for both its own brands and third-party labels.
Caring for your leather
This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
You can also use a delicate neutral cream or color to nourish and revive your leather.

In all cases, remember to always test the application of a maintenance product on a non-visible surface of your product. Certain finishes or leather treatments may react differently from one product to another.
