Product Description
A biker jacket with the sleeves removed
The Nalia retains all the signature features of the asymmetrical-zip jacket — an off-centre side zip, notched lapels secured with press studs, and zipped pockets — while removing the sleeves. This is not a lightweight accessory but a structured piece: the shoulders remain defined, the lapels fold down in the same way, and the silhouette remains that of a biker jacket. The only difference lies in what the vest reveals of the garment worn underneath, which becomes a full-fledged part of the outfit.
Three pockets on an uncluttered front
One flap pocket and two zipped pockets structure the front. On a sleeveless piece, these elements take on greater visual importance: the surface freed by the absence of sleeves draws attention to the front, and a pocketless vest would look empty. Their arrangement mirrors that of a complete jacket, maintaining the coherence of the design and preventing the piece from looking like a truncated garment.
Mauritius, from the Gipsy name to the present day
The story began in 1972, when Jürgen Raberg founded Raberg Ledermoden to produce leather clothing. The brand developed under the name Gipsy for decades before becoming Mauritius on its fiftieth anniversary. The second generation, Katrin and Christian Raberg, has continued the company’s international development ever since, with a presence in more than fifty countries. The name change did not affect its core business: the company produces leather clothing exclusively.
Caring for your leather
This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
