An ivory color that gives the piece its structure

The shade of this Pasja occupies a middle ground: warmer than pearl gray, cooler than ecru, it belongs to that family of indeterminate light shades that are difficult to achieve consistently on a hide. It is what makes the piece. Set against a complete biker construction — asymmetrical zip, notched lapels with snaps, adjustment tabs — it creates the desired contrast: a shape from the biker wardrobe, treated in a color that does not come from it at all.

A brightness that reveals the construction

On leather in this shade, nothing is hidden: every seam, every panel join, every variation in the dye bath is visible. The construction details become the garment's only contrast — the diagonal zip, the line of the lapels, the gleam of the snaps — and the piece reads like a line drawing rather than a dark mass. This is what makes light-colored biker jackets more graphic than their black counterparts.

Adjustment tabs to keep the hem in place

Two adjustable tabs alter the width of the jacket at the hips. Tightened, they close the silhouette and define the waist; loosened, they allow the garment to fall straight. On a light-colored piece, this adjustment matters more than on a dark model: a light shade reveals the volumes, and a hem that hangs loosely is immediately noticeable. The supple, lightweight lambskin allows the lapels to fold down naturally. The jacket falls correctly from the very first outing, with no break-in period.

A house founded in 1972

Jürgen Raberg founded Raberg Ledermoden in 1972 and dedicated the company to leather clothing, a path it has never departed from. Renamed Gipsy, then Mauritius on its fiftieth anniversary, the house has gone through several generations of leather clothing without changing its trade. Katrin and Christian Raberg took over its management after their father. The house works both for its own brands and for third-party labels, which explains the breadth of its catalog.
