A light collar on dark leather
The Iske is built around a simple contrast: a cream synthetic wool collar set against black leather. The collar rises at the nape and closes the top of the garment, while adding the piece's only light touch.
A clean-finish tape at the hem
A finishing tape protects the jacket's lower edge, the area that rubs against seats, belts and straps. Its role is strictly technical, and it goes unnoticed once the piece is worn — its usefulness becomes apparent two or three seasons later, when the bottom of the garment is still neat. Along with the two zipped front pockets and the centered straight zip, it completes a construction that prioritizes durability over appearance. Nothing on this jacket was added to be seen: every element serves a precise purpose.
Mauritius, from the Gipsy name to the present day
The story began in 1972, when Jürgen Raberg founded Raberg Ledermoden to produce leather clothing. The brand developed under the name Gipsy for decades before becoming Mauritius on its fiftieth anniversary. The second generation, Katrin and Christian Raberg, has continued the company's international development ever since, with a presence in more than fifty countries. The name change did not alter its expertise: the company produces leather clothing exclusively.

This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
