A Teddy Jacket That Takes Leather Seriously

The MWBjella takes the classic teddy jacket design and reinterprets it in a version built entirely around leather: a short, straight-cut silhouette, a rib-knit stand-up collar, and matching finishes at the cuffs and hem. The uniform black color and tonal stitching keep the design understated, while the ribbed trims clearly define the silhouette.

Its central zip fastening extends this streamlined construction. The two side pockets with welt openings remain discreet on the front, while the ribbed hem keeps the jacket close to the body without a belt or tightening tab. The overall design calls to mind a bomber-inspired jacket, with a stand-up collar replacing the classic shirt collar.

Lambskin Leather for a Supple Silhouette

Lambskin leather gives the jacket a supple feel and a less rigid drape than thicker leather. This material follows the short lines of the design rather than stiffening them: the ribbed trims structure the edges, while the leather shapes the body and sleeves.

The body is lined with cotton and the sleeves with polyester. This construction makes it easier to slip the sleeves over the garments worn underneath, while preserving a softer feel against the torso. With its contained volume and fitted finishes, the MWBjella is easy to wear over a T-shirt or lightweight knit, with jeans or a skirt.
