Von Dutch’s Vector boots rely on an immediately eye-catching combination: a yellow cowhide leather upper, shaped into a lace-up boot. The color adds depth to the shoe and becomes the outfit’s standout feature; the leather, meanwhile, brings a denser, more textured presence than canvas.
Laces for an adjustable fit
The lacing lets you adjust the support according to the volume of your foot and the socks you wear. It also gives the shoe its classic boot design, with a line of laces contrasting with the yellow tone of the upper. This product is made of cowhide leather. Whether thick and heavy or thin and light, cowhide is one of the most resistant.
Its maintenance simply involves using a cleansing milk or a delicate cream.
You will also need, as with the vast majority of leathers, to waterproof your leather once every 6 months, or more depending on its use, using a special leather aerosol product.
