Men's Mauritius MMAdelmo ANTIQUE BROWN
Produktbeskrivelse
Leather that arrives already marked
The finish of the MMAdelmo is worked to imitate wear: the edges, shoulders, elbows and base of the collar are lightened, the brown comes through in places beneath an almost black background, and the surface is never uniform. What other jackets achieve after several seasons of wear is already present here from day one. Since the treatment is applied to natural hide, the intensity of the contrasts varies from one piece to another: no two jackets are ever exactly identical.
A construction concealed behind the material
The design is reduced to the bare essentials — stand collar, straight centered zip, and few seam lines. This simplicity is not a cost-saving measure but a necessity: on such a heavily worked leather, every panel and every piece of embroidery would compete with the finish. The garment is read all at once, like a surface, and the leather does all the work. The stand collar closes at the nape, the straight zip runs down the center of the torso, and the eye is drawn to nothing but the variations in tone.
A close-fitting silhouette
The jacket is designed to be worn close to the body, with the length stopping at the waist, creating a clean vertical line over straight-leg jeans. It works best over a T-shirt or lightweight shirt rather than thick knitwear, which would make the drape look bulky. When closed, it defines the torso; when open, it reveals the faded edges of the front, where the contrasts are most pronounced. The fading continues to evolve with wear: areas that are already light become more pronounced, and new marks appear at the creases.
Mauritius, from the Gipsy name to today
The story began in 1972, when Jürgen Raberg founded Raberg Ledermoden to produce leather clothing. The brand developed under the name Gipsy for decades before becoming Mauritius on its fiftieth anniversary. The second generation, Katrin and Christian Raberg, has continued to expand the company internationally, with a presence in more than fifty countries. The name change did not affect its expertise: the company produces leather clothing exclusively.
Vedligeholdelse af dit læder
This product is made of lambskin. It is the most supple skin among the different types of leather. It is fine, soft and light, and is very easy to maintain!
The only maintenance necessary is waterproofing the material, this should be planned before the first wear of your product and regularly following the frequency with which you wear the product (if you wear it every day in rainy weather, you can repeat it up to once every one to two weeks).
You can also use a delicate neutral cream or color to nourish and revive your leather.

In all cases, remember to always test the application of a maintenance product on a non-visible surface of your product. Certain finishes or leather treatments may react differently from one product to another.
