Double closure and storage designed for everyday wear

Two overlapping zips structure the front and give this bomber a denser line than a classic model. The water-repellent recycled nylon is easy to wear over a sweatshirt or fine knitwear, while the oversized cut leaves room for layering.

There is plenty of storage without weighing down the silhouette: two lower snap pockets, two large zipped front pockets, a zipped pocket on the left sleeve and two interior snap pockets. The orange lining creates a sharp contrast when the jacket is opened, like a nod to the flight jackets that Schott has made its specialty.

The stand-up collar and rib-knit finishes at the collar, cuffs and waist follow the functional codes of the bomber. The result remains urban: with straight-leg trousers and sneakers, the oversized volume creates a loose silhouette; with raw denim and boots, it enhances the jacket’s presence.

Schott has been making outerwear since 1913, the year Irving and Jack Schott launched their company in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The brand subsequently produced flight jackets for the US military during the Second World War and helped popularize the zip-up jacket as early as 1925.
