Leather style without being a leather hat
This dark brown traveller hat plays with the codes of a weathered hat: its textured surface and deliberately irregular shades evoke aged leather, while its material is a blend of cotton and polyester. This choice gives the model its vintage appearance while making it easier to wear than a genuine leather hat. The decorative stitching highlights its construction, while the contrasting ribbon draws a clean line around the crown and sets off its rustic silhouette.
A generous brim for outdoor outings
The traveller shape is recognisable by its tall crown and downward-sloping brim. Here, the approximately 6.5 cm brim casts shade around the face, while the 12 cm crown gives the hat a distinctive presence without bringing it too close to a Western model with a very wide brim. The water-repellent material is suitable for ordinary changes in weather; however, it is not presented as waterproof protection.
Certified sun protection
The fabric is tested according to the UV STANDARD 801 by Hohenstein and offers UV protection rated 80. This feature complements the shade provided by the brim and makes the hat suitable for days spent outdoors. Its weathered style works just as well with outdoor clothing as with a casual city wardrobe.
Stetson, hats since 1865
John B. Stetson founded his brand in Philadelphia in 1865, after imagining a wide-brimmed hat during a trip to the American West. His first original model, the Boss of the Plains, helped establish the Stetson hat in the imagery of the Wild West. Since then, the brand has expanded its range far beyond Western shapes, with models such as this traveller designed for outdoor wear.
