An aviation-inspired bomber without the excess

The TGJ 2445 NAVY takes the familiar bomber silhouette and presents it in a refined version: the navy blue nylon lets the construction details shape the silhouette, without patches to draw the eye. The ribbed cuffs and hem tighten the garment and define its cropped profile, while the propeller-shaped zip pull marks its connection to the world of aviation.

This restraint sets it apart from patch-covered Top Gun jackets. It retains the vocabulary of flight wear, but fits more easily into an everyday outfit.

Functional bomber details

The ribbed trims keep the sleeves and hem in place and give the jacket its compact shape. The zip fastening, recognizable by its propeller-shaped pull, becomes the central graphic detail without turning the front into a decorative panel. Several pockets complete the piece, keeping everyday essentials close at hand.

Easy-to-style navy blue nylon

The outer fabric is nylon. Its textile surface gives the bomber a lighter, more casual look than a leather jacket, while the navy blue naturally pairs with jeans, chinos or cargo trousers. Worn open over a T-shirt, it lets the outfit breathe; when closed, its ribbed finishes further emphasize the waist and cuff lines.

Top Gun, a brand born from aviation heritage

The Top Gun brand was founded in 1996 in Queens, New York, inspired by military clothing and the culture of the US Navy's fighter pilot school. Its wardrobe was built around flight jackets and aviation references before expanding into lifestyle clothing. The brand name echoes the fighter pilot school popularized by the 1986 film, but the brand and the naval institution are separate.
