A chic retro-style coat cut

The GABANO SABLE stands out with its three-quarter-length silhouette and double-breasted fastening, giving it a dressier presence than a shearling jacket. Its well-defined tailored collar extends this classic line. The double row of buttons structures the front and allows the coat to be worn closed for a neat look, or open over a more casual outfit.

The sand colour softens the volume of the shearling and pairs easily with winter shades: ecru, grey, navy or brown. With wool trousers and dress shoes, the coat complements a polished outfit; worn with jeans and a sweater, it retains a relaxed look without losing its elegant character.

Pockets designed for everyday wear

The construction incorporates several practical details: two slanted chest pockets and two lower flap pockets. The latter can be worn with the flaps tucked in for a more streamlined look, or left visible to highlight the coat’s retro inspiration. The double-breasted fastening and pockets distributed across the front give the model a structured appearance, without reducing it to a simple dressy piece.

Made from genuine shearling leather, the GABANO combines the outer side of the hide with its wool retained on the inside. This construction creates a thick material with a substantial structure and warmth suited to autumn and winter. Its weight can be felt when worn; however, the leather retains a balanced suppleness rather than the rigidity of a heavily lined coat.

Shearling, a naturally enveloping material

The inner wool and outer leather are part of the same material: the sheepskin is turned inside out so that the wool faces the body. The coat therefore does not need a traditional textile lining to provide a warm layer. This construction makes it particularly suitable for cold days, worn over knitwear or a lightweight jacket depending on the season and your sensitivity to the cold.

The GABANO SABLE will appeal to those looking for a distinctive winter coat that is easier to style than a strongly aviation-inspired shearling. Its coat cut, tailored collar and buttons give it a chic wardrobe feel; the material and pockets provide just the right amount of character to complement everyday outfits as well.
